Join us on Friday evening, December 12th, for a Traditional Lessons and Carols Service with our sister churches The Porch and Petra Church, hosted at Petra’s location (455 Dolores Street). Time TBD.

Lessons and Carols is a beloved Advent tradition that began in England over a century ago as a way to tell the story of redemption through Scripture and song. The service alternates between Bible readings (“lessons”) and carols, tracing God’s promises from Genesis to the birth of Christ.

It’s a beautiful and accessible service—perfect for inviting friends and neighbors who may not yet be part of a church community. The familiar carols and readings create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that points to the hope of the gospel.

Because it’s a Friday evening event, please arrive early to allow time for parking and seating. Come ready to sing, listen, and celebrate the coming of our Savior together with our wider church family.
